Quite easily summed up like this, sea, sun, volcanoes and very narrow curving roads.
To get there, we had to fly to Tenerife, then by a much smaller plane to Santa Cruz de La Palma, it took another 30 minutes to get to the most western Canary Island. It was worth the extra travel, as it appears to be much less touristic, much calmer and with loads of nature experiences. Which suits us 🙂 Late February temperatures were like a Norwegian summer, mid 20s.
