Appreciate the Norwegian:) the black rubber bands were tightened several times as I watched, and the idea behind that, is something I don’t understand.

There are different rules on how to apply the Tefillin. It depends if you’re Ashkenazi or a Sefardic jew, which direction of Judaism that you follow, which practice your Rabbi follows etc, etc. I don’t know all the different practices.
